Kredivo Secures IDR 3 Trillion in Increased Funding from DBS Indonesia

DBS Indonesia has increased its channel funding to Kredivo, our portfolio buy-now-pay-later provider, to IDR 3 trillion, a milestone in a six-year partnership between traditional banking and digital fintech in Indonesia.

The increase represents the seventh funding increment since the partnership began in 2020 at IDR 300 billion, rising to IDR 500 billion, then IDR 1 trillion in 2021, IDR 2 trillion in 2022, and IDR 3 trillion by end-2025. The expansion comes against a backdrop of accelerating BNPL demand: OJK data shows buy-now-pay-later online credit disbursed by finance companies grew 68.61% year-on-year in November 2025 to IDR 11.24 trillion. DBS Consumer Banking Director, Melfrida Gultom said the increased funding aims to ensure digital credit is “not only easily accessible but also helps them manage their daily needs in a comfortable, flexible, and practical way.”

By October 2023, the partnership had financed more than one million transactions for Kredivo users with minimum salaries of IDR 3 million. With the additional funding, Kredivo aims to reach 20 million users across Indonesia in coming years, prioritizing loans for daily needs, healthcare, education, and productive investments.

We congratulate the Kredivo and DBS teams on the continued growth of this partnership, which offers a working blueprint for traditional finance and fintech to jointly close structural credit gaps in emerging markets.
