SiCepat Ekspres has announced Eid bonuses for 18,000 couriers ahead of Idul Fitri 2026, a workforce investment that reflects the company’s commitment to courier retention during Indonesia’s most demanding delivery season.
Idul Fitri 2026 falls on March 20–21, with government mudik restrictions running from March 13–29. Package volume during this window typically surges 20–40% while logistics capacity tightens. SiCepat operates 6,600 drop points and 12 fulfillment centers, managing 1.2 million daily shipments and a workforce of 18,000 couriers, making it Indonesia’s third-largest last-mile operator. Courier compensation at SiCepat ranges from Rp1.75–2.5 million in base salary per month, plus allowances and bonuses for hitting delivery targets, with total monthly compensation typically reaching Rp3.5–4.5 million when bonuses are included.
SiCepat paired the bonus distribution with an operational pause on March 21–22, with normal service resuming on March 23. The combined approach of bonus payment and a controlled rest period acknowledges that workforce sustainability matters more than 24/7 availability during peak season, and that courier churn directly impacts service reliability.
