Kejora Capital Looks Beyond Fandom to The Next Wave of Entertainment IP
Fandom is increasingly becoming more than just an audience loyalty. That was the sole focus shared by Kejora Capital and Gushcloud International during a panel discussion at MIX Singapore 2026.
Managing Partner of Kejora Capital Andy Zain joined Joanne Liew, General Manager for Singapore & Malaysia at Gushcloud International for the panel “Bridging Fandom and IP: From Value to Scale Across Korea and SEA”, on September 23.
Both exchanged their notes and explored how engaged communities around creators, artists, and content can develop into scalable and investable IP across Korea and Southeast Asia.
As the entertainment industries evolve, fandom opens new doors for IP opportunities and how audience value can be activated through engagement, partnerships, or other experience opportunities.
The eventful conversation was part of MIX Singapore 2026, a two-day Korea MediaTech Roadshow, held from 22-23 September by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) Singapore Center.
Beyond the panels, MIX was designed as a meeting point for new ideas, connections, and potential partnerships. Through the event, it gives Southeast Asian businesses an opportunity to explore where emerging Media tech capabilities could fit into their ecosystems
The connection between South Korea and Southeast Asia is significantly relevant as Korea’s entertainment industry continues to reach global audiences across contents ranging from K-pop, K-drama, or other content formats, like gaming.
At the same time, Southeast Asia offers a diverse and digitally engaged consumer base, with fandoms and content creator communities continuing to develop.
